Journeys (Level 3)

In this level children will be able to venture with Mayito the Guacamayo & Lola the Llama on a journey through different Spanish Speaking countries to learn about means of transportation,, dialogues with verbs, and their communities.
Journeys will be a Level 3 session for children K-5 who have already learned some Spanish (either by attending Adventures & Excursions or through other Spanish classes/experiences)

The students will use Total Physical Response to engage in receptive language about the traditions and cultures of 6 difference Spanish-speaking destinations.
The students will engage in language experiences to describe and compare the traditions of 6 different Spanish-speaking destinations.
The students will engage in social and academic conversations with peers about the traditions and cultures of 6 difference Spanish-speaking destinations.
