What makes El Camino’s Curriculum distinct?
El Camino’s curriculum was designed by a group of renowned educators with experience in language acquisition, curriculum development, and literacy learning. The El Camino Curriculum is based on second language acquisition theories, which have been proven to teach students to be successful. Each 10-week session takes students on an “Adventure” to different Spanish speaking countries, where the students will learn about the countries’ cultures while acquiring a new language. Each week’s lesson will focus on learning objectives that intentionally and purposefully progress the students’ language learning. El Camino’s curriculum includes home extensions that are provided after every class so that the learning and fun can continue at home!
