Every single El Camino lesson is designed by our curriculum experts to utilize the El Camino MUSE Model: Methods, Strategies, Use, and Engagement. The lessons are designed to include the most effective teaching strategies for language learning (e.g. Total Physical Response, Language Experience Approach, inverse gradual release). Our highly-trained teachers, who are all native Spanish speakers, teach the lessons using instructional methods that respond to the individual students in their class. El Camino teachers build relationships with the students, get to know their Spanish language proficiency, and make learning fun to ensure that the students get the most out of each lesson.
During El Camino lessons, students use the Spanish that they are learning through songs, stories, and activities. Each El Camino lesson is filled with student engagement and fun so that students will be excited to practice and share their newly acquired Spanish at home.
